This is the update on the Group Website - Pulau Perhentian

For my part, I will be taking care on the site for the 'About Us', 'Currency' and also 'Activities' and below is the descriptions that written on the site.

 On the Activities.html site, I added in the descriptions as below : 

 " Scuba diving
     
          The experience of scuba diving around the Perhentian Island is certainly a breath-taking experience and a superb one for visitors, and many people re-visit the island time again and again for the deep.

          Visitors can expert some of the top spots for scuba diving at Tokong Laut (Temple of the Sea, known as the Pinnacle) and the Sugar Wreck. Tokong Laut is a pointed rock protruding from the seabed, surrounded by all kinds of coral and home to numerous species of reel fish and other marine life. The Sugar Wreck is an eerie-looking sunken freight ship that lies around 15-22mm.
         
          Marine life is in abundance here and apart from the many species of hard and soft coral that form the backbone of these ecosystems, you may also expect to encounter turtles, several species of sharks, mackerel, jacks, moral eels, nudibranchs and various other reef fishes.
          Visitors are able to choose option of either taking up for recreational dives or for certification and there are numerous dive operators are provided at each and every beaches around the island, but as usual safety needs to be placed at first



For snorkeling,

   " Snorkeling is a very popular activity, which considered as one of the main attraction in Perhentian Island. You may find various operators along the beach and also from the resorts or hotels offering snorkeling outings around the two islands and the price is ranging from MYR 35 - MYR 60 per person for duration ranging of one and a half hours to a full day, depending on the duration, stops and also equipments.
      Some of the popular spots for snorkeling around Perhentian Island are Shark Point, Teluk Pauh and Tanjung Basi.
      Due to the sheer amount of visitors, and this resulted in damage to the coral and consequently the marine life around the island. To ensure good conservation of these incredible ecosystem, visitors are advised to follow instructions carefully from the instructors."

For the jungle-trekking, description below was written on the site,

     " The tropical forest covers the greatest part of the Perhentian Island and a few trails that twist the greenery allows visitors to explore the diversity of plant life. Visitors may tread quietly and you may just meet up a few of the island's animals along the way. Monitor lizards are in abundance, as are numerous species of insects and birds. Insect repellent and plenty of drinking water are advisable to bring while going for jungle trekking."

For this site, images of the country were placed and description on the currency rate for some of the main currency around the world is placed for the visitors to have more idea when it comes to planning before coming to the island.

Description placed for the site is as below:

" Pulau Perhentian is a very beautiful island in Malaysia, which is also known as the 'stopover island'. the island is located and situated just 21 km off the coast of the state of Terengganu and consists of two islands, whom are called Pulau Perhentian Besar (Large Perhentian Island) and Pulau Perhentian Kecil (Small Perhentian Island).

   These islands are still a gorgeous place to stop and rest even until today. Tourists can have fun while at the island and able to disconnection themselves from the stress. Perhentian Island is a sanctuary for fishermen, holiday makers, and migratory birds. It is covered by unspoiled jungle, white beaches, and windswept palms and also surrounded by sapphire blue waters.

    Apart from that, there are no roads on the islands and the only way to get around is by walking through the jungle or taking a sea taxi. You may even encounter some of the shy wildfire in the island such as monitor lizards, fruit bats, squirrels, or even the elusive mouse deer. A visit to this tropical island is also a must for those who enjoy activities like snorkeling, scuba diving and also jungle trekking.
For accomodation, you may find simple chalets and also resorts along the beach for choices."
